Absolute recommendation! We have been going out for private and business dining at the Kastanienhof for years now and have always been satisfied. At the moment there is also the option of picking up good and cheap meals outside the home. Thank you for the great stays over the past few years.

Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere! We have eaten there several times and it was always delicious. The portions are very large and sufficient. For my taste, the meat portions are a bit too big in relation to the side dishes. Unfortunately, there is also very little choice of vegetarian dishes.

Bad Münder is a small community, so everything is very manageable. The Kastanienhof tries to create a pleasant atmosphere. There is a swimming pool, everything looks neat. We have been well entertained.

Visiting the restaurant: The soups were very good. The main courses were all top (hamburger, beef fillet, deer), as were the side dishes and the side salad. The corona requirements are 100% fulfilled. We felt safe. Many thanks to the Kastanienhof team

We eat here more often and it is always a culinary highlight. But not only the kitchen is worth mentioning, but also the ambience. Everything here is very tastefully decorated with great attention to detail and very well maintained. You just feel comfortable. After a celebration, the guests were accommodated in the hotel and were also very satisfied with the clean and attractive rooms. The staff is very nice and forthcoming. All corona rules were strictly observed.

Everything ok, the only criticism: the shower, which is too small for me.

Every time we are very excited about how great atmosphere, hospitality and food go hand in hand in this location. The food is very fresh and tasty prepared, especially the salads are always a highlight for me. With the small appetizer in the form of bread you could certainly be a little more creative. Now at Christmas time, the restaurant area is particularly inviting decorated and festively decorated. We are looking forward to our next visit. Greetings to the entire team of family Schütte

I have stayed in many hotels of different categories (2 to 5 star superior), but in my opinion this hotel does not correspond to a 4-star category. The room was of a moderate standard (see photos). The breakfast was good.

You can celebrate very well from the localities, beautiful view of the Deister and attractive hiking trails, food was good but nothing special, occasion was a birthday party, portions are not very big and the cake is a nightmare for a 4 star hotel, no highlights except the location

Unassuming Hotel in rural surroundings. Reception and staff super friendly and welcoming, couldn’t be better. The rooms are slightly dated but clean.

A very nice and friendly hotel. The four stars are well deserved. Family-run with all the advantages and disadvantages. Despite the terrifying address (at the city train station), very quiet area. Small sauna with a swimming pool. Unfortunately only open until 9pm, during my stay it was also closed earlier. Morning buffet was delicious. Fried eggs to order, no bacon possible. The restaurant is a little more expensive than average, which in my opinion is unfounded. Can't say what I ordered was bad, but cooked very average. Given the fine ingredients - medallions, veal, game, mushrooms of the season (turned out to be white champions), the disappointment was great. In spite of everything, I would choose the hotel for my next stay in Bad Münder, but eat outside.

Food and friendliness TOP! The freshness and quality of the goods used was great! Also appealingly served on the pretty dishes. Nice and courteous service and very pleasant environment and decor. Why not 5 *? The 5th star they get, if they confirm their own claim in trifles and z. For example, you can make a hollandaise yourself and not resort to convenience here. But the ice cream was homemade and just a dream!
